5 The menu came in quite a few languages including English so it’s pretty easy to converse with the staffs. The food here came in generous portions. The Bosnian bread was soft and warm which went well with the meat. The meat platter was well seasoned and the meat was not tough too. The staffs were welcoming as well.
5 We really enjoyed our visit! We came here for smokvara, a traditional Bosnian dessert, and it was worth the trip! The establishment is pleasant and clean, and the service is quick and friendly. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. We highly recommend this place!
5 I ordered the "Small size veal steak with side dish". That's what was written on the menu. There was also a Large size option, but the small one was as big as my head. My hand in the second photo is for size reference. Not to mention the "side dish" was apparently every side dish on the menu. The risotto was excellent (side dish) and it also included chopped onions some lettuce salad and fries. They also served me freshly baked bread that looked 100% made by them and baked at the spot. They even served me a glass of water, even though I didn't order any drink. All this for 13 bosnian currency or around 6,5€. Amazing. Totally recommend. 10/10.
5 We had a great breakfast here, it was very nice. They have a big covered garden outside, nice and calm, and a big AC place inside. The waiter was very nice, he brought us more water with ice (it was very hot outside). We liked the service and ambient of this place. Good prices also.
5 I had a small portion of grilled mushroom(9km) and scrambled eggs(4km). The food was tasty and fresh. They brought bread and a glass of water to the table which was nice to have. Price to quality is really good. They have vegetarian options. Highly recommend it.
5 Ascinica Saray in Mostar turned out to be one of the best food stops on our Balkan road trip. The staff were friendly and really patient in explaining the menu to us, which made choosing our food so much easier. You can feel they genuinely want you to enjoy your meal. The place itself is huge — lots of seating, clean, and comfortable. Plus, it’s located right next to a mosque, which is really convenient if you’re travelling and need a place to pray before or after eating. The food was certified halal, and you can taste the quality straight away. We tried the cevapi and the veal steak, and both were way better than what we expected. Tender meat, good seasoning, generous portions — everything just hit the spot. If we ever come back to Mostar, this will be one of the first places we’ll return to. Really worth trying if you’re in town!
4 Went here for lunch w my partner and tried the saslik with fries and some bread on the side. We also shared a soup and including my partners veal cutlet our total was 31KM. Quite a lot of food so prices are pretty fair! The food itself was nice. Fries were decently crispy and the meat on the saslik was quite tender. Everything seasoned well too. My gf liked her food too. Overall it's not mind blowing but good food and friendly service for a fair price. Recommended.
5 We absolutely loved this place! We came here for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast. The portions are huge and very affordable – which is hard to find in Mostar, where many places can be quite pricey. There were always free tables available, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything we ordered was delicious, but we have to give a special mention to the šashlik – it was absolutely incredible! Highly recommended.
